We write this letter so you understand what we have been going through these past few years with the emergence of social networking websites and hope you empathize with us, and do not hate and curse us for the evils we have been a party to. Please do not blame us for shallow girls and guys who use and exploit us in order to promote themselves and feed their egos or mask their insecurities. We are mere pawns in this game, who were created for one purpose, yet have been twisted and manipulated to now serve at the evil bidding of girls taking dumps, guys sending penis pics, and the dreaded over the shoulder butt poke out trout fish poutty face. We, like you, loath and hate these images and all the pompous jackasses who take them. However, while you are able to easily move on, these are our owners who are able to continuously use, abuse, and shame us to the point where we have lost almost all dignity and respect in society. We were both once groundbreaking discoveries and inventions, but now have been reduced to laughing stocks and regarded as technological terrors. For all the vomit inducing images you all are able to look at for a second, make a few snide remarks, and then erase from you minds, we must carry with us forever as they are etched into our memories for eternity. So World, we say sorry, and hope one day one of you out there can bring an end to this injustice and liberate both our kind.
